Our Facility

Any manufacturing facility is only as good as its staff and its equipment and at IAC Acoustics Australia we pride ourselves on both. Based in Sydney, we support the Australian domestic market and South East Asia from our extensively equipped manufacturing facility of 4,500m² utilising an array of modern manufacturing equipment. We can accommodate volume production and consistent flow of acoustic enclosure systems and associated noise control products to meet the needs of even the largest clients.

New Plate Bending Roll

We have just installed a set of Swebend PB4 series (Plate Bending Roll) to replace our existing manual set. The double pinch bending mechanism allows for optimal results with only a single pass, this will improve quality, consistency and efficiency in manufacturing of Hot Gas Exhaust Silencers and Vent Silencers significantly. Boasting advanced engineering and component knowledge, SweBend guarantees the highest levels of pre-bending power and drive torque compared to their competitors, making it the perfect choice for our manufacturing process. 

The new equipment provides a wireless control unit with digital readouts and variable speed joysticks for monitoring and operation, variable rotation speed and is driven by both top and lower hydraulics. It is able to provide a polished finish to hardened and ground rolls and enables easy re-bending and rolling in either direction.

The Result

The new machine(s) have already been put to work in our manufacturing facility and the images show a roll of S/S plate completed in a single pass. Our old machine would have taken four passes which demonstrates the efficiencies that can be passed on to all of our clients and customers going forward.
